I am a PhD student at the University of the Basque Country and in the formal linguistics group Hizkuntzalaritza Teorikoko Taldea (HiTT) and Mineco Network on Meaning and Grammar (SIGGRAM - Significado y Gramática).  My PhD is  funded by a FPI predoctoral grant (BES-2016-076783 from MINECO, the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness). Supervisors: Elena Castroviejo (UPV/EHU & Ikerbasque), Berit Gehrke (HU Berlin)

{ Previously }

M.A. from Universität Stuttgart (Dec 2016). The thesis concerned the expressive meaning of a posture verb and was titled Sitting and Waiting: Idle meanings of an English posture verb, under the supervision of Daniel Hole and Berit Gehrke. At U. Stuttgart, I worked as a research assistant on the projects Alternations and Binding (Sonderforschungsbereich 732: B8; PI: Daniel Hole) and The Form and Interpretation of Derived Nominals (Sonderforschungsbereich 732: B1; PI: Silke Fischer; Researcher: Gianina Iordachioaia).

B.A. from Michigan State University (May 2010). At that time, my research interests were in sociolinguistics; the thesis topic was Elderly on the Eastside: A mini ethnography, under the supervision of Suzanne Evans Wagner.

In between the two, I was an au pair in Germany and then in France, and then spent a few semesters studying Informatik in Esslingen, Germany.
